After a spectacular finale at the end of a very special year, the banding community and Warragul Municipal Band (WMB) in particular, were sad to learn that Geoff Coote did in fact take his last bow at the end of 2025. Geoff's legacy, not to forget his massive contribution to the success of the WMB's 140th Anniversary Year Celebrations Concert, is irrefutable. We all wish him well in his retirement and look forward to seeing him again soon.
As 2025 rolls to an end, Musical Director Geoff Coote, Band President Alice Weatherall, Band Committee, and all Members of the Warragul Municipal Band family would like to thank the West Gippsland community for helping them celebrate their 140th Anniversary Year.
