From The Beginning - A Walk Through Time

Throughout the month of October, the Bruce Armstrong Band Room - located at the WGAC Precinct, Warragul - will be open to showcase the history of Warragul and the Band. The exhibition, From The Beginning – A Walk Through Time, will feature images of Warragul from the 1880s and a tribute display to Bruce Armstrong. It will also acknowledge and pay respects to the Band’s ANZAC and 52nd Battalion connections. With over 150 trophies recently cleaned and catalogued, past uniforms and photos on display, and much, much more, this exhibition aims to celebrate the rich history of a Band that has been an intrinsic part of Warragul since 1885. The exhibition will be gold coin donation and open Mondays and Tuesdays 6.00pm - 7.00pm throughout October to 11 November, Saturdays 10.30am - 12.30pm throughout October to 8 November, and a final viewing opportunity on the afternoon of the 140th Anniversary Year Celebrations Concert on Saturday 15 November from 2.30pm - 6.30pm.
