Ensure the best value and enjoyment from the Band's performance by considering the type of event (indoor/outdoor, marching/seated).
Indoor Venues:
Ensure easy access for the band.
Provide adequate space for setup.
Ensure good lighting and acoustics.
Outdoor Venues:
Consider location, shelter from weather, shade, acoustics, and noise interference.
For parades, ensure proper marshalling, traffic control, and coordination with other groups.
Provide cool drinks in warm weather and food if the event spans meal times.
The organising party must ensure security and safety for the Band, including personnel and equipment.
The Band typically requires a 12x10 sqm area and stable chairs with upright backs for approximately 25 players. If necessary, the Band can provide chairs with prior arrangement.
Consider the audience's need for comfortable seating to enjoy the performance.
Music selection is at the Musical Director's discretion. Specific requests should be communicated at least four weeks before the event.
Acknowledge the Band in event publicity and posters to leverage our high-profile and dedicated followers to your event's advantage.
